Today I created my very first blog! I believe I have a ways to go before my blog site is nominated for one of the <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">webblog</span> awards :-)<br />Searching through the various blogs I am reminder of what us <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">librarians</span> often refer to as "information overload." I found the <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">BlogScope</span> to have one of the better search options. I really liked having the ability to search related terms that were provided after submitting my initial search. I located a couple of blogs of professional interest to me;<br />"The Information Literacy Land of Confusion Blog"<br />"The <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">Krafty</span> Librarian"<br />Of course my favorite part of this <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4">exercise</span> was searching the <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5">Bloggies</span> award site for best blogs. Some of my favorites here are the best food, best photography and best entertainment. Again, tons of information! Other nicknames for Louise are; Eliza,Eloise,Lois,Lou,Lulu, Louisa etc. I suppose there are worse nicknames! So who is Weazer? I am the intern in the Libraries’ Department of Education and Outreach department for the Winter and Spring quarter here at UC Irvine.
